*Under the Arkansas Public School Choice Act of 2013, as amended, the Gravette School District will accept written application from students who reside outside the district to attend any of the Gravette Schools. Application forms are available on-line at gravetteschools.net/parent forms and the Administration Office located at 609 Birmingham St. SE, Gravette, AR 72736. The deadline for all School Choice Applications is June 1, 2013.
The purpose of the credit recovery classes are to provide students who have failed an academic course the opportunity to retake the course and earn credit toward high school graduation requirements. The courses are taught through computer based coursework (Apex). The classes will be offered during the school day and during the summer.
The summer session to be offered will run from June 3 – 27. The session will be from 8:00 – 12:00, Monday through Thursday. The facilitator will be paid $20.00 per hour. The facilitator must be termed highly qualified in any area as determined by the Arkansas Department of Education. The students will be allowed one absence for the session to fulfill the required 60 hrs of seat time to recover credit.
